This course belongs to our advanced level category. During the time usually allotted to daily writing assignments, your student will read larger portions of the assigned text, George Eliot’s Middlemarch (1874). Before beginning Middlemarch, your student should examine our three essay prompts. After reading the text with these topics in mind, he or she should choose one and write an analytical essay.
We consider Middlemarch an advanced level text for its length. We recommend this book for adventurous readers with some essay-writing experience.
