In this two-and-a-half-week course, your student will read Joseph Conrad’s brief novel Heart of Darkness (1899) and complete daily writing assignments. During the first week, your student will read the novel and build skills at the sentence- and paragraph-levels. During the second week and a half, he or she will construct and write an analytical essay with our curriculum as a guide. By following our basic instructions, your student will progress easily from the thesis-statement to the outline to the final draft.
