In this three-week course, your student will read George Eliot’s classic novel Silas Marner (1861) and complete daily writing assignments. During the first two weeks, your student will read the novel and build skills at the sentence- and paragraph-levels. During the final week, he or she will construct and write an analytical essay with our curriculum as a guide. By following our basic instructions, your student will progress easily from the thesis-statement to the outline to the final draft.
